I pivoted many times to overcome adversity and succeed because that’s what I had to do to make it in this world. Despite being a high school dropout, I went to 4 colleges before graduating, and then I went to law school. I changed jobs and careers several times, became a full-time remote worker (I had not really even teleworked before), relocated from Maryland to Texas (I’m originally from NYC), and got married (for the third time) last year!
Over the past 2 years, some people struggled to make career, social and economic adjustments. Others, however, seized the opportunity, set new priorities, learned new skills, and thrived by pursuing interests previously set aside until “a better time” or discovered hidden and untapped talents.
In this blog, I am sharing years of official and unofficial research, wisdom I gained at the feet of mentors, friends, family, coworkers, bosses, and real-life lessons learned. I will also show you strategies I have used to re-route after wrong turns and make tight U-turns from dead ends. I hope and pray that this blog gives you the information, motivation, and inspiration to achieve your goals.
This blog is dedicated to you – successful people!
